I was really surprised at all the inaccuracies and mistruths contained in this tiny little book. If you read it you might think Mt. Vernon is a neighborhood in Manhattan, or that Main Source had two Canadian MC's and one producer from Queens. Apparently there's a part of "Human Nature" filtered through an s950 which NaS used on his demo. Wow Quincy Jones was sooooo ahead of his time! The author also claims Bobbito passed on NaS while he was a+ring at Def Jam, because he felt NaS wasn't ready to make an album, which is simply not true. Here's more on the topic... I'm gonna go re-read the Paul's Boutique book.
